Lotsa News!

YAY! I'm an aunt again!!! Annabelle Bartholomew was born October 22, 2008 and she is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!! Tee hee hee I got to see her on Thursday with Zach and Shellie before the grandparents did ^_^ She is so pretty! It was so cool to feel the instant connection with her though...the second I saw her I thought to myself "I'm just like you". It was really neat. I'm so glad I got to see her before I had to leave. I don't have any cute pictures of her so check out Zach and Shellies blog, I've got a link just to your right :p

Most of my weekend was spent just hanging out with friends. I had lots of fun and met lots of new people. Oh, just to jump back a bit. Last Monday there was a paint dance! Haha ya it's exactly what it sounds like. It was outside and they had a DJ, a tent and obviously...PAINT! It was wicked fun to just go, get covered in paint and dance with a bunch of people that you didn't and or couldn't recognise! Hahaha My pants look way cute but I think I'm just going to trash the shirt. Stephanie took pictures so I'll have some of them up soon for you guys to see!

I also took the time to carve a pumpkin with my friends last night! It was so much fun and I bet you guys can't guess what I did ;) Hahaha I carved the triforce into my pumpkin! It looks so cool!!! I'll put some pics of that on here too along with the paint pictures!

I've got a show coming up this weekend in Missoula, MT...we have to leave on Halloween...very angry puppy...but it's another 3 English show so I really don't want to miss the opportunity to get some more points...BUT STILL!!!!!! Halloween!!! Thats my favorite holiday tied with CHRISTMAS!!!! BAH!...oh well...other than that I haven't really done anything special so I'll let you guys know whats going on as soon as something goes on :P

CSI Horse Show

YAY!!! We had another horse show this weekend! It was a 2 day, 3 English show that was at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls. It was SO much fun! Even though we had to haul 4 of our jumpers up there we still had a blast and a fairly relaxed time. I went up early with our coaches Rebecca and Colette (she's new and it was her first day of work hahaha) and two other girls. It was a rather boring trip up because they didn't play any music. But we talked alot about horses (duh) and books and movies. But the second I decided to put in my ipod and try to nap Rebecca starts talking about what we need to do when we get there and then we got lost hahaha! Sigh, Rebecca has been there countless times and still needs help :p

Anyway, we get to the arena where we're having the show and we start to warm up the horses we brought (Josh, slow stupid arab. Charlie, pissy pony I rode in the first show...yes...he jumps and looks awesome doing it! Cecil, plain old boy who is really trickey and Gulliver, our champ!) and start to school them over the jumps so they don't freak out during the actual show. That takes about an hour and a half. Then we go to the place where we are keeping out horses and get them settled in for the night with food bedding and water. Cee is totally freaked out and is neighing the whole time, as we leave, and when we came back in the morning...I don't think he likes stalls. Lol But after we get them settled we go check into the hotel, order pizza, watch animal planets animal attacks show lol then we fall asleep.

Ok, so getting up at 7:15 then 5:40 for two days then 7:15 again can really mess up your sleep and make you really tired lol but ya we had to get up and be out the door at 6:15 so we could go get our horses and take them to the arena and warmed up for the show, so we do that. SLEEPY PUPPY! But me and the two other girls didn't really have to do anything the rest of the show because of it thought, MWA HAHAHA! Not that the others really had to do much but hold horses and occasionally move jumps. Ya...I felt weird not helping though...so I ended up working anyway :P

Once the show started things calmed down alot more, the jumping was way fun to watch because...well...we actually could lol Our horses and riders were both fantastic! The first show went really well and I we were the High Point team for that show! Its really cool and we're one of the top in our zone because of it! OH! haha that particular show I got the cutest little pony that everyone from CSI and USU were raving about because she used to be one of our ponies and she is just a DOLL!!! I did fairly well on her but didn't place.

The second show was really good too! We ended up getting High Point rider because Jenna Delong (the girl I get rides with) trained with the judge MWA HAHAHA!!! Yay for favoritism :P But Jenna did awesome anyway and I think she deserved 2 first places anyway hahaha And I drew the SAME PONY!!! Lol in a class of 13 people I somehow managed to get the SAME PONY! She was so perfect and I could hardly have asked for a better ride...because...I GOT SECOND PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TOTALLY AWESOME HUH?! Lolol ya I'm so happy and the ribbon even matches my room :P I'm so happy and now I'm even on my way to classing up haha even though I need like...16 more points. You get 7 points for first, 5 for second then the degress from there by ones. So I now have 5 points! Anyway, that night we went to an over rated and over priced Italian restaurant but its ok cuz it was fun to spend time with the team :) After that we went back to our hotel and just kinda settled in for the night and I got to sleep probably about every other half hour because of my CURSED ALLERGIES! I ended up sleeping with my face over the side of the cot and over the trash can so I could just let my nose drip into the trash can...ugh...

The next day went way quick. We got our horses there, warmed up, coaches meeting, show started, drawing horses I...GOT THE SAME BLASTED PONY!!!!!!!! Hahaha I found it hilarious! I had an awesome ride but didn't place which even confounded my coaches...grrrrrrrrr. Once all our riders had shown, we got our horses packed up and ready to go. Waited to find out who was high point team and rider then we left. However, even though Twin Falls is only about 2 hours away from Logan...we didn't get home till 4 hours later...Dan got us lost. BUT thanks to that we didn't have to do feedings Sunday night. ^_^

Ya, but you guys haven't missed much since my last blog so I won't go much on that other than I'm still kinda looking to find my happy niche of friends but its ok, it'll come ^_^ So signing off for now, I love and miss you all and I'll write soon!

The First Show

SO! My first show was this last Saturday! It was so much fun, at least what I was there for. This is the first time ever our english riding team has ever taken first because we've never had a full team before this year. We also tied for high point rider. KatieAnn drew a crap horse for the tie breaker so we kinda got screwed over, that and she was up against an open rider and she's just a novice to intermediate.

Anyway hahaha I think I did pretty good for my first time ever showing. Mom, Dad, and Tony all say I did really well, but I'm not sure because my horse, Charlie (the overcompensating pissy little pony) doesn't like to slow down once he gets going. Lol oh well ^-^ I didn't place but no big deal. Lol I'm getting better even from then thought! In my riding class we learned how to take up proper leads for cantering so I should do better next time :)

On a sadder note...Laine left for the MTC today. And not to say that him going on a mission is a bad thing!!! I'm just going to miss him so much! But hopefully these next two years will fly by like the last few haha He's going to Carlsbad, California. So now I have yet another excuse to go to Cali for Spring Break MWA HAHAHAHA! Laine is going to be an amazing missionary though. If I were a non-member, from his testimony alone I would know that this is the true church just from the conviction in his voice. His farewell talk made me cry his spirit was that strong. But anyway, I'll miss him but I'm so proud of him!!! ^-^

I'll write soon. Please leave comments lol its fun to hear what you guys have to say :)
